Recently I hired Maher Brothers for a long haul move from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Fort Worth, Texas.I wanted to provide you feedback on my experience.  thought my shipment arrived late, you have some exceptional employees who more than made up for that slight inconvenience.

The gentlemen you came out and provided the estimate, I think his name was Mike, was extremely professional and thorough.  he arrived when he said he would and provided the estimate in the time frame promised.  Mike told me that the same driver who picks up the load is the one who delivers it.  This was a feature I like since it gave me the perception that the driver takes "ownership" of my items.

My moving load day was March 18th.  Larry and his crew (Justin, Eric, and Mark?) arrived.  I saw the 3 loaders, they were young and skinny, but boy were they strong and efficient.  Larry informed me that he wouldn't be driving the load to Texas due to upcoming surgery. While I was disappointed with this my moving coordinator Pam informed me that I had "another one" of your best drivers.  Since Larry wasn't going to be driving the load, he took more time in ensuring the load was packed and wrapped to ensure there would be no problems.

Tim Kline was the guys who drove my load to Texas.  I was told it would arrive the morning of March 24th. Unfortunately his truck broken down in Kansas City and it delayed the arrival by a day.  Once it arrived, Tim, and the local crew here Manual, Jose, and another gentleman quickly unpacked it.  The crew was very accommodating in placing items where I directed as well as move them when we realized they wouldn't fit.  They arrived at 8am and were done by 1pm.

Lastly, I have to sing the praises of my moving coordinator Pam.  Pam is the reason I called Maher in the first place as we went to high school together.  Pam kept in contact with me with multiple calls a day when the truck broken down in KC.  She kept me up to speed on the arrival date as well as profusely apologized for the inconvenience and delay.  The type of customer service I received is what I assume she provides all her customers.  She truly went above and beyond.  Making sure I knew I could submit inconvenience receipts for my meals etc. for the one day delay which I will not be doing.  The day slip was disappointing it ended up working better with my schedule as I was off on March 25th.

Please pass on my thanks and appreciation to your employees involved in my move. I will recommend your company to any friends looking for a long haul or local mover.

I just wanted to send a quick note to say how wonderful you were in coordinating my move from Washington, DC to Iowa City, Iowa. You answered all of my questions, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and accommodated me when I had to change my move dates at the last minute.

Also, James and Ariel were fantastic. They were courteous and friendly, and also kept me informed both before and after the move. They both did a fantastic job.

Finally, the two gentlemen who helped unload me, Chris and Mr. Leyendecker were also fabulous. Again, they were friendly, courteous and very careful with my belongings. They also gave me quite a bit of information about Iowa City.

I wanted to take the opportunity to commend you and your company on the quality of your employees.

Nate Clouse, along with Richard and Nick loaded our household goods Monday, and you would have been pleased if you could have seen them work. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they were very careful with both our funiture and our home. They also were able to answer any questions I had, and were always courteous.

My neighbor stopped by after they left and commented to me about how they worked and that they seemed to be in a good mood and enjoyed their work. That from a high school teacher and coach.

I also apprecated you coming over as soon as you did to give me an an estimate and set up scheduling for us. You guys all did a great job, and I appreciate it."
